SimpleDrive by SimpleTech Portable Hard Drive Review
My initial impressions is that this drive is really sleek looking. The drive had a two toned finish of flat silver with blue accents. The shape of the drive was a bit irregular. I would most describe its shape to be similar to an airplane's wing. Due to this irregular shape, I don't really think that these drives would stack very nicely. SimpleTech describes the case as being rugged, however, when playing with it, I wouldn't really want to drop this drive as it feels a little flimsy.

The performance of this drive was quite impressive. On my test, I was able to transfer 2.75GB in 3 minutes and 12 seconds.
The drive is completely powered by the USB port. Included with the drive is a miniUSB to two USB connectors. One of the USB connectors is designed to support only auxiliary power while the other supports auxiliary power and data transfer. The MacBook that I will be primarily using this drive provides enough power through a single USB port that I don't have to attach the other connector.
This drive is compatible with both Mac and PC and is the perfect portable hard drive for laptop users who need additional storage to store their stuff. With no additional power supply, this handly little drive is very easy to slip into your laptop bag.
This little drive packs a lot of storage in a small little package. It has a very nice design. The drive can be purchased on Amazon.com.
