Synchronize Firefox Among Multiple Computers with Google Browser Sync

If you rebuild your computer as often as me, or if you have multiple computers that you frequently use, managing your precious bookmarks can be a constant headache. I neat little took that I've found to synchronize Firefox that work very well is Google Browser Sync. This utility is very easy to install, and very simple to synchronize bookmarks, cookies, passwords, tabs, and browser history among multiple computers.

When you install Google Browser Sync, you will first be asked to log into your GMail account. If you don't have a GMail account, now is the perfect time to sign up for one. After logging into GMail, you will then have to create a PIN. This PIN will be used to encrypt data that is being synchronized.

After you complete that process, you will notice this little button.

Click it and you will have a settings option.

Clicking the Full Refresh button at the bottom will force Google Browser Sync to synchronize all of your browser settings with the server.

The Sync Settings tab allows you to select which items that you would like to synchronize with the servers.

For me, only bookmarks are really important for me. For the most part, I use the default browser settings for all of my browsers.

This is definitely worth checking out. And as a free application, thats an awesome deal. This is available for both Mac and Windows. Google Browser Sync can be downloaded on their website.
